SPECTRE · Monetary protocol research
ZAI.
ZAI as the coordination capital of the agentic economy: a role under study, not a live financial instrument.
ZAI · The capital
SPECTRE’s proposed monetary Layer 1 explains ZAI’s protocol mechanics within SPECTRE, including the basic SKY/ZAI swap AMM and its liquidity pools. Organisational issuance and investor rights stay in We; LIQUID owns advanced exchange and application-level settlement workflows, including markets for eligible organisation instruments. This placement does not activate a token or market.
ZAI The fixed-supply coordination-capital role under study: supporting the long-term economic foundation of the network. This is not a grant of equity, ownership rights or provider admission.
ZAI concerns participation and collateral in the research model, not day-to-day exchange. A stake does not grant access to private information, voting authority over someone else’s organisation or permission to move their funds.
Conserved inventory. Conditional redistribution.
The selected model conserves total ZAI inventory. Under its assumptions, a time-based charge on nonqualifying inventory supplies a redistribution pool for eligible active stake, including qualifying pledged stake. Distribution uses declared work weights; these are model inputs, not independently verified measurements of useful work.
Redistribution moves existing ZAI. It is not new ZAI issuance, a DAV dividend or SKY lending interest. No eligible stake or no positive eligible model work weights requires a hold, not invented recipients. Defining and verifying actual useful work remains open.
Count each ZAI unit once across free wallet balances, wallet stake, exclusive loan collateral and pool reserves. A pledged unit cannot also be spent, deposited in a pool or pledged to another loan. Pool shares are claims on reserves, not additional ZAI inventory.
Stake eligibility is a separate flag: qualifying pledged collateral and pool ZAI may still count as stake under the selected model. That overlap does not create another asset or free an encumbered balance.
Collateral is not spendable currency
In the reference lending model, an eligible ZAI-backed loan draw creates both a SKY balance and a principal liability. Staking alone does not create spendable SKY. Collateral valuation, enforceable locks, funded recovery and exit remain unresolved deployment questions.
A collateral mark is not a reserved buyer or funded recovery. A forced sale into finite liquidity can leave residual default. Loss bearers, recovery funding and withdrawal rules remain unselected; a smaller simulated loss does not justify trapping an exit.
ZAI is not DAV equity or title to the biosphere. A model inventory must not be read as a decided genesis allocation or an offer.

Useful work comes first
The aim is to incentivise useful services and dependable network capacity. Contribution, provider qualification, review and payment must remain distinguishable. No contribution automatically earns SKY, grants ZAI or establishes an entitlement.

The boundary
These pages explain a research design, not an available financial service. Model balances, rates and conservation rules are assumptions to test—not offers, entitlements, forecasts or proof of redeemability. The selected documentation baseline is dated 21 September 2026; the October 20 continuous-wallet direction is a separate unimplemented successor. Runtime and economic acceptance remain open.
Capital page status: a research specification — no live money, no sale, no redemption and no yield claim.
Keep the mechanisms separate
ZAI redistribution, SKY lending interest and DAV dividends have different sources, recipients and rules. A simulated work weight is not verified physical contribution. An exchange price is not a funded exit. A payment receipt is not independent evidence of an outcome.
No stake, token balance, fast route or AI recommendation grants authority to act for someone else. The research must still establish accounting closure, recovery, incentives, demand, distributed validity and rights before any production decision.

A proposed delivery outline derived from the selected monetary documentation baseline. This website plan is not an adopted project charter, financial offer or production rate decision.
- Vision
- Coordination capital supports useful participation without being confused with payment balances, organisational equity or authority.
- Mission
- Make ZAI inventory, qualifying stake, collateral and redistribution inspectable in bounded reference accounting.
- Objectives
- Verify conservation and one-use collateral; expose zero-stake boundaries and missing work evidence; test funded recovery and legitimate exit.
- Strategies
- Keep inventory, pool claims and DAV rights distinct. Compare eligibility and work-weight mechanisms before adopting incentives; preserve failed model outcomes.
- Measures & triggers
- Track inventory conservation, double-counting and pledge violations, missing or zero eligibility, verified work coverage, recovery shortfalls and completed legitimate exits. Production thresholds remain unselected.
- Agents & skills
- Monetary accounting, incentive design, work verification, security and independent evaluation skills are needed. Implementation ownership and staffing remain unassigned; no agent gains signing authority.
Source and adoption boundary
Selected documentation is distinct from implemented accounting, qualified economics and live distributed execution. Rates, staffing, rights, funded recovery and release acceptance require their owning decisions and evidence.

The other foundations
ZAI, SKY and SPECTRE are explained within SPECTRE’s shared protocol stack. Their use in the proposed organisational financial model is compared on the SoResFi page. That model does not transfer issuer rights or obligations to the network.

- The capitalZAIParticipation, redistribution and collateral in the research model.
