A maker’s promise. A record of fulfilment.

XaaS may become a standard within Skyzai: direct maker commitments, clear product-specific agreements and customer reviews of how well those agreements were honoured. The standard and its admission rules are still proposed.

The proposed maker-agreement lifecycle
  1. Exact product + context

Version, configuration, buyer use, region and period.

  2. A direct maker commitment

Named obligations, price/payer, support and remedy.

  3. Accepted terms + evidence

Record the agreement and the work actually delivered.

  4. Customer fulfilment review

Compare the promised obligation with its observed outcome.

A proposed Skyzai standard

Makers contract and fulfil directly with buyers. Skyzai would help structure and compare support, maintenance, care, access, upgrades, measured work or remedies. It would not add a separate XaaS intermediary or finance insurance. A service label is not a guarantee, insurance cover or proof of delivery.

The maker’s commitment

Identify the exact product, service scope, accountable maker and any fulfilment or service partner. A partner does not remove the maker’s accepted obligations. Only verified makers would list products; retailers cannot list resale offers.

The buyer’s choice

Ownership with separately chosen lifecycle support, or access/usage with integrated commitments, are possible forms. Availability does not enrol a buyer in a subscription. Payer, term, inclusion and cost must be explicit.

This proposed standard preserves the digital usage model. It does not turn a model response into a guaranteed outcome or require hardware-upgrade rights for consumed energy. Menexus retains its own separate programmes and contracts.

Name the commitment

Proposed direct maker-agreement record
Record or decisionWhat it needs to say
Product linkExact product, version/configuration, offer and accepted agreement/version; covered transaction or usage.
Responsible partiesVerified maker, contractual seller, fulfiller and named support/remedy owner.
Scope and unitPromised obligations, how measured, capacity, exclusions and supporting evidence.
Context and timeBuyer/use context, region, due dates, duration, validity, renewal and withdrawal.
Price and payerIncluded versus separate costs, who pays and which usage or access terms apply.
Remedy and exitService failure, cancellation, refund, portability and what remains owed.

Agreement validity and delivered performance are different facts. A website fixture cannot establish a contract, coverage, insurance, capacity or maker acceptance.

A service period needs its own acceptance and bill

For an illustrative continuing service, pin a period, capacity or usage unit, named provider and price ceiling. Record what was delivered in that period and which obligations remain unresolved. Renewal is a separate choice; a successful prior period does not authorise another charge.

An included maintenance or upgrade promise has a scope and responsible party. Insurance stays unspecified unless actual cover and eligibility are separately established. Partial service, interruption, overages and exit need agreed billing, credit and remedy terms.

Review the actual agreement

A proposed customer review would link the product/order and accepted agreement version to a specific promised obligation, due date, observed outcome and supporting evidence. “Was the repair completed when agreed?” is a different question from general satisfaction.

What a fulfilment review would preserve
Record or decisionWhat it needs to say
Promise and outcomeWhich obligation was accepted, when it was due, and what the customer observed.
Evidence and verificationRelevant records and the limits of what the platform checked; no invented score or verification badge.
Response and correctionMaker response, corrections, dispute status and a contest path that retains the history.

Review eligibility, privacy, anti-manipulation rules, aggregation and appeal remain to be designed. Reviews would inform comparison; they do not certify engineering safety, guarantee service or adjudicate a legal dispute.

Terms have a scope and a lifetime

A service offer has a scope

Fictional XAAS-LA-02, version 1.0-demo, names actuator LA-02 in workshop region R-01. Change the intended sale to see why a badge alone is insufficient.

Sample references match. Field matching does not prove a qualified provider, capacity, valid contract or real admission.

A later service change must preserve the original order and its accepted obligations. Replacement terms need their own review; history is not rewritten.

This synthetic scope-matching exercise illustrates one possible admission candidate. It does not adopt a mandatory rule or qualify an actual maker. A valid-looking record is insufficient without the responsible parties’ agreement and evidence.

Changed or withdrawn terms affect future offers. Existing accepted obligations, correction history and remedies remain recorded; a successor agreement cannot rewrite a past order.

The product twin carries the links, and the order proposal pins the versions for review. Similar appearance does not establish the same coverage.

Keep the product useful

A product-aware service assistant could inspect permitted manuals, compare sourced compatibility claims and prepare a repair request. It should preserve conflicting evidence and route unresolved facts to the maker or named responsible provider. It does not approve engineering fit or book service.

The same record structure can describe an app’s continuity, a robot’s maintenance, a component’s replacement or an energy-service commitment. The maker must define the actual promise, capacity, terms and cost before it can be represented as an accepted agreement.

Keep the next decision attached to its record.

Track the exact continuing promise, responsible provider, period, measured unit, inclusions and remedy. Qualification, delivered work, customer acceptance and recurring bills stay distinct.

A product twin does not transfer title. Local logs do not issue OFN receipts. An order or accepted result does not establish payment. The originator, issuer, venue operator, chain operator and custodian retain separately specified responsibilities.
